Whoops...

Howdy New Music friends,

It seems that I've been very busy for the last two months (silly school) and haven't posted my playlists. Whoops. Well, Music for Internets is still going strong, broadcasting every Wednesday from 10 am to 12:30 EST on 90.3FM in RI or online at http://wriu.org/listen.html I promise that I'll make some sort of attempt at reconstructing the last two months worth of episodes, but they might be a but spotty here and there.

One major highlight in the last two months was interviewing Cadillac Moon Ensemble and Circles & Lines about their May concert. They posted the audio from the interview here. You should check it out, it was a lot of fun.

During that interview we tested out a new way for me to record long distance interviews and I'm quite happy with the results. That means (drum roll please.....) that I will be getting back into featuring interviews on Music for Internets! So, if you're interested in being interviewed on the radio, drop me a line at musicforinternets at gmail.

#NMBS pt. 2

Hello again friends new and old,

I have updated the last few weeks of playlists. If you're new here, take a look around and see how much awesome New Music I play every week. Unfortunately at this time there is no podcast available, so if you want to hear the show you have to do it the old fashioned way: in real time! The show airs every Wednesday at 10am Eastern Time at http://wriu.org/listen.html, just click on the FM Stream. I'm constantly seeking new works to play, so pop over to the "Who wants airplay" tab to learn about how you can submit works. And as always I welcome you comments, questions, and suggestions. My list of links to composers, performers, and ensembles is terribly out of date, but I'll try to get that back up to speed when this semester ends. And of course we're also on ye ol' Facebook, and you can even be my friend!

Justin
